About These Workshops
After educating hundreds of families, Mary Duke, LCCE started to think of new ways to better serve her students. The number one, most common concern for most, was the 8-week commitment. Class length remained the same over the years, as it truly takes that much time to cover the multitude of complex topics Lamaze® Classes are made up of. How could Mary balance what students were asking for with her desire to not leave out an important topic? This question led her to plan a ‘Build Your Own Course’ workshop program.
Instead of an 8-week class commitment, you can choose the topics that matter to you. Each class is $65 per couple. If you plan to attend 5 or more courses, it may be more advantageous for you to join an 8-week Lamaze® Certified Childbirth Education Classes where we cover all these topics and more for $350.

Workshop Description: You will leave this class with an outline of a birth plan I have used locally with students and clients for the last 3 years. I will help you not only learn how to build a birth plan, but how to use it and present it to your care provider. For home birth and birth center families, this will work as your plan in the case of transfer. (Cascade of interventions is a recommended prerequisite for this class since we will not have time to dig in depth to all the interventions).
